Knack.ie is a platform operated by AMT Group that connects customers with local professionals. We pass requests to professionals and let professionals unlock customer contact details using credits. We are not a party to the contract between a customer and a professional — that agreement is between you and them directly.

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Knack, either as a customer or a professional.

Posting a request is free. Give an honest description of the job and your contact details so professionals can quote and reach you. When you hire a professional, the work, its quality and payment for the work are agreed directly between you and them — not with Knack. Please treat professionals and their employees with respect.

• You buy credits in packages to unlock leads that match your services and areas. Unlocking a lead spends its credit cost from your balance.
• A credit purchase is consumed when you unlock a lead. Credits are not transferable between accounts and have no cash value.
• Unlocking a lead gives you the customer's contact details so you can quote. It does not guarantee you the job.
• Keep your business profile accurate: only claim the services you actually offer and the areas you actually cover.

Advertised prices for credit packages are the final amounts you pay at checkout, including any applicable tax.

Customers can leave reviews and professionals can reply. Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine engagement. We may remove reviews that are abusive, discriminatory, spam, or not about the service received.

Do not misuse Knack. That means, among other things: no scraping or bulk downloading of content, no contacting customers obtained through Knack for unrelated marketing, no creating fake accounts or fake reviews, no unlawful or dangerous services, and no interfering with the site's security or how it works for others.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, including where there are unpaid amounts or signs of fraud. Unused credits have no refund value where an account is closed for breach of these terms.

Knack is provided “as is”. We do not vet or guarantee the work of any professional, and we are not liable for the quality, safety or outcome of any engagement between a customer and a professional. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page. Significant changes will be notified in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
